Tarlac to Paranaque and Back

September 19, 2010. Took a bus with Fel all the way to SM Bicutan to meet with Daryl, the debutante's cousin, Malen the debutante and their families. Had a quick meeting over lunch then we were all off to visit the event venue. While there we also met with the caterer and the contact fr lights and sounds.

So glad to have renewed ties with this family. After 2 weddings, the last one in 2007, this debut will be the 3rd one I'll be doing for them. No wonder it all seems familiar and comfortable being around them. The Oct. 02 party promises to be a FUN event.

That same day we traveled back to Tarlac. On the bus it struck me that the commute was actually a good thing. Spent 3 hours awake for the meeting and ocular while I managed to squeeze in 6hrs sleep total during travel time. Not bad.Not bad at all. :-)

September 8, 2010...

Today marks my 15th year of being a mother...the best thing that ever happened to me. You gave my life meaning and direction. You are my angel. I know I wouldn't be who I am today if I didn't have you. You will always be MY OWN, Jami. I have no regrets. You've made my life worth living...I wouldn't have it any other way. Happy birthday, anak. I LOVE YOU!

2nd Year in a Row

For the 2nd consecutive year I'll be hosting the Awards Event of the Tarlac Provincial Blood Council for their Voluntary Blood Donation Program. That's later at 4pm. Here's the programme:

My name on the bottom of page where it says Master of Ceremonies :-)

Pachibog Para Lumusog Year 3

RCT’s Continuing Health and Hunger Program. This feeding program was initiated by PP Alice and HM June de Vera 9 years ago and was officially adopted by the RCT in 2008 under PP Alice’s term as president.

At the beginning of each school year, 50 underweight and undernourished primary school students of Don Casimiro G. Teodoro Elem. School are chosen to be beneficiaries of a weekly feeding session. The feeding takes place every Tuesday and Thursday of every week for the entire school year. At the end of each month, the students are weighed and checked for signs of improvement in their over-all health. Beneficiaries are observed to be healthier, happier and more active in class.

Today, August 26, RCTarians once again served the students with yummy egg-caldo and orange juice. The breakfast bunch, headed by President Anne also included PP Alice & HM June, PP/Sec. Joey. PP/Treas. Rose, Rtns. Harris, Dong, Gio, Jene, Mai, Judith with daughter Rhea, Spouse Roy and Sub Sec. Ting. School Unit Head Ma’am Abner Corcuera coordinated with the RCTarians for this activity.

The Don Casimiro G. Teodoro Elementary School is the adopted school of the RCT.
